Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Introduction
At VYRE IDE ("we", "our", or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information and code. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use our desktop agentic IDE services.
Our core philosophy is practical privacy: private project files are not used for Vyre product training, and the IDE should make model context and ignored files clear before beta teams rely on it.
2. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services securely:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and identity data from Firebase authentication providers such as email/password, Google, and GitHub. Vyre does not store raw passwords.
- Trial Phone Verification: If you choose to start a no-card Pro trial, Stytch processes the mobile number you provide to send and verify the SMS code. Vyre handles the number only while making that verification request and stores a protected one-way identifier, Stytch verification identifiers, timestamps, and attempt status for trial abuse prevention. Vyre does not store the raw number or verification code in its billing database.
- Usage Data: Product usage metadata, error logs, and performance metrics used to operate and improve the IDE. Product-improvement sharing is opt-in in the dashboard.
- Waitlist Data: Information provided voluntarily when joining our beta queue.
3. Code Privacy & AI
Your code remains yours. When you use VYRE Agentic AI, prompts and selected context may be sent to the configured model provider needed to answer the request. Private project files are not used for Vyre product training, and ignored files should stay excluded from AI context.
4. Data Security
VYRE uses standard security measures including OAuth-based authentication where configured, short-lived sessions stored in HttpOnly cookies, and encrypted transport for hosted endpoints. Formal compliance certification and deeper enterprise controls are roadmap items during beta, not completed claims.
